Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Casablanca

Meet & greet upon arrival in the Mohammed V International Airport, then drive to the city center with the possibility to make a visit to the Hassan II Mosque (depending on your flight’s arrival time; otherwise, we can leave it to the next day). The Mosque is the landmark of Casablanca (the economic capital of Morocco) and is the third largest religious building in the Islamic World with the capacity of 86,000 prayers. It is a perfect masterpiece of architecture that joins both Moroccan & Andalusian craftsmanship. Spend your first night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

After having breakfast in your hotel, you’ll head to Rabat, which is the administrative capital of Morocco & is home of the ruling King Mohammed VI & the royal family. Rabat has been the official capital of Morocco since 1912 & is listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Our tour of this city will take place from the dramatic Oudaya Kasbah that panoramically overlooks the adjacent Sale city, the Bou Regreg River & the Atlantic Ocean. The Kasbah (fortress) has a rich history that dates back to the 11 century when it was first constructed by the Berber Almoravid Warriors before it was completely demolished and rebuilt by the Almohads in the 12th century.

Visit the Hassan Tower, which is the landmark of the city and can be seen from different locations. Appreciate the amazing architecture of the Moroccan artisans while visiting the Mohammed V Mausoleum with its white marble, geometric designs, stucco-work, tiles…After that you’ll continue on the track to the blue-city of Chefchaouen with a nice drive through the agricultural plain of El-Gharb.

Meander around the intricate alleyways while losing yourself in the prevalent beauty of the buildings, doors & windows. You’ll end up in the Ras El-Ma Spring that offers breathtaking views and an opportunity to sample the unique lifestyle of the locals with women washing clothes and carpets.
