Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 08 am. You’ll have a journey of a lifetime experience with your private driver/guide. Drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), the snow-capped mountains along with “Berber” Villages that are built-in adobe & stone by the mountains offer great opportunities for stamping your desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga.

You may want to include a short break for chilling out & learning about the Argan oil in a local women cooperative. 

You’ll have a guided walking tour through the UNESCO listed Ait Benhaddou Village as a World Heritage Site. The village consists of numerous Kasbahs (fortresses) that are a striking example of southern architecture. After lunch, you’ll continue on the track further east driving through Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa), the palm oasis of Skoura before including another break in the Valley of Roses where you can learn about the extraction of rose water from roses along with the production of other products. Spend the night in the impressive Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga & Camel Ride

After breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you’ll head further southeast to the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi while including a break in the spectacular Todra Gorges (Canyons). You’ll have time to stretch your legs while enjoying the stunning views of the cliffs standing like walls to the extent they have been attracting mountain climbers from all over the world. Continue on the track through the palm-dotted oasis of Tinjdad, Erfoud before arriving to Erg Chebbi in the late afternoon.

A warm welcome by the staff members of the hotel with a refreshing mint tea before getting prepared for your camel ride experience. Enjoy the stunning views of the sunset atop the sand dune, return back to the desert camp  where you’ll have dinner in a tented restaurant or under the stars. Spend the night in your private en-suite tent or under stars…

Day 3: Merzouga - Alnif - Nkob -Ouarzazate

Early wake in the morning, enjoy the miraculous view of the sunset, have your breakfast & take a refreshing shower before packing your luggage to resume our journey. You’ll drive through Rissani, which the oldest capital of Tafilalet Oasis & where the great-great-grandfather (Moulay Ali Sheriff) of Morocco’s current king is buried. Head west to Ouarzazate through Alnif & Nkob known for its palm trees & striking Kasbahs. Cross the spectacular Anti-Atlas Mountains with its unique geological shapes before arriving at Ouarzazate in the late afternoon. 

Day 4: Ouarzazate - High Atlas - Marrakech

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you’ll head back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. En route, we will include many short breaks for you to take more pictures & chill out before arriving to Marrakech in the afternoon.

You will need a passport that is valid for six months beyond your stay and a round-trip airline ticket. The passport must have at least one blank page.
