Itinerary

Day 1: Errachidia - Merzouga Desert

Meet and greet upon arrival in the Moulay Ali Sherif airport of Errachidia before heading to the majestic Merzouga desert through the palm Ziz Valley. Time for leisure in the desert after the check-in at the hotel/Riad, which is located by the feet of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Overnight accommodation in a comfortable hotel/Riad including dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Explore the Desert Area & Camel Trek

Today, we will explore the Merzouga desert with a 4WD, we will pass the road of Paris Dakar, We will visit a Berber family that lives behind the dunes, will drink tea with them to see their lifestyle then drive to Khamlia village originally from Mali, Sudan they were slaves a long time ago we will see their Gnaoua music lunch will be in the village after that we will drive to meet our camels to spend the night in the camp.

Overnight accommodation in a comfortable desert camp including dinner & breakfast.

Day 3: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast in the camp, we will go back by camel to meet our driver-guide to start the last day of our 3 days desert tour from Errachidia to Marrakech, We will stop in Erfoud famous for fossils, and then drive to Marrakech across the striking Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, make a short visit to the Ait Benhaddou and drive through the spectacular Atlas Mountains offering magnificent views before arriving in Marrakech in the evening marking the end of our 3-day desert trip from Errachidia to Marrakech.

What's the best way to fly to/from Morocco?

Do I need a Visa to enter Morocco?

For citizens of many countries, you do not need a visa to enter Morocco. You will receive an entry stamp in your passport upon arrival.

You do not need to apply for a tourist visa for the Morocco Tour if you are a citizen of the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain or any of the other countries listed here.

You will need a passport that is valid for six months beyond your stay and a round-trip airline ticket. The passport must have at least one blank page.

How do exchange money in Morocco?

If you have US dollars, Euros, or British Pounds, you can exchange money at an exchange bureau upon arrival at the airport or at your hotel but the rate won’t be quite as good as exchange bureaus we’ll find elsewhere. Our guide can help find the best place to exchange your cash for local currency.

There is often a problem making a change in Morocco, and it can be difficult to pay with large banknotes, so be sure to get smaller denomination banknotes (10s and 20s) as this will make your life easier when paying for inexpensive items such as drinks and souvenirs.

Will we bring luggage to the Sahara Desert?

Yes. We will be spending just one or two nights maximum in the Sahara and while we will be traveling to the tented camp via camel (optional), the luggage will be taken via vehicle or you can securely lock it in the hotel/Riad in charge of managing the desert camp.

Will we have power in the tents at the luxury camp in the Sahara?

Yes, there’s definitely power in the tents.
